Golden Key 2019.

The Golden Key is an award presented by the jury of international experts to the most successful exhibitors at the Fair, thus pointing out to the highest quality and most innovative solutions. Such gathering of an international jury places the Fair in an international context and singles it out as a relevant institution in the furniture industry. This year, the team of experts, who will be deciding about the award, will consist of the following people listed below:

Ms. Francesca De Ponti

Ms. Francesca De Ponti is a journalist, consultant and an expert in the furniture, design and architecture industry and is also a co-founder of ADP Comunicazione in Milan. She possesses an extensive experience in writing about architecture and design, and has been engaged in strategic consulting activities for many years now. Furthermore, she worked as an Editor-in-Chief at Design Diffusion World group, and also as a PR Coordinator at Salon del Mobile in Milan, Moscow and Shanghai for the years 2018 and 2019.

Mr. Branko Nikolic

Mr. Branko Nikolic is an architect and a co-founder of Antipod Studios in Belgrade, whose primary focus in on the interior, furniture and industrial design. The studio has won several awards so far and has implemented a number of projects in the field of architecture, furniture design and interior design in residential and office buildings, as well as in retail establishments and restaurants. Antipod collaborates with the leading Serbian companies by applying global and innovative solutions to help develop high functionality and efficiency within the workplace and living space.

Mr. Marco Sousa Santos

Mr. Marco Sousa Santos is a designer from Lisbon, an Art Director and Curator active across a variety of interior and design projects. Aside from a large number of projects he has been engaged in, he also launched a PROTO DESIGN and the biennial of the DESIGN EXPERIMENT, where he has been displaying some of the most important exhibitions as an Art Director. His projects and products have been exhibited at reference institutions, such as V&A in London, MOMA in New York, triennials in Milan and Salon du Meuble in Paris.

Mr. Gorazd Malacic

Mr. Gorazd Malacic is a founder of product design consultancy Asobi, which made its international debut at the London Design Festival by exhibiting the prototype of the Isle Lounge sofa. Asobi has received many prestigious design awards. Gorazd is also the originator of the TOKIO brand, a kind of platform where he integrates his experience and creates a contemporary design brand with a main focus on technically well-crafted products.

Ms. Tanja Jovic

Ms. Tanja Jovic is an economist and a brand manager for the Eastern European market at the Alba Sales Consulting Agency for influential high-end brands such as Agape, Missoni Home, Vall & Deco and Brokis. She has been cooperating with the brands such as Vitra, Cassina, B&B Italia, De Padova, as well as with a number of architects from Croatia and the region. Moreover, she has an extensive consulting working experience in developing and distributing young brands on the global market.
